ah okay so long story short I dislocated my shoulder this past summer the shoulder my dominant freaking hand shoulder bro i do Pilates twice a week and today was the first class that I did a full side plank on my right side i'm so excited i'm so proud of myself when I first started again after Pilates I was like "God it's going to like take me so long it's just hard." But like I don't want to harm myself anymore i was like "Yeah let's just not try." And then I was like "Well let's just try." And then I kept trying and kept trying when I first first first first first first started class I could barely do it anyway bro I'm so proud of myself keep going cuz you have to keep showing up for yourself it's either gets better or it doesn't but it's never going to get better if I don't try just don't give up on yourself because what's the point of that a blue I don't know if you can see it but I'm in a blue set today and it's very comfortable it's very cozy this is my first time wearing the set together um so we will see how it works out in class the material on Lulu has just been so cozy to me i haven't found a brand that is similar i did hear like um I think it's either Costco or Sam's has a dupe i don't have a membership there so maybe one day I'll get to try out the dupe cuz if it's a cheaper price I would love that for me um but I haven't got a chance to get in there yet without a membership so maybe one day I will do that and also if there are any other brands that are nice with the same type of like buttery feel and stretchability cuz that's important too like I want to make sure when I'm moving nothing like moves or falls down um in class but yeah if you have any dupes let me know cuz I would love to check all of those out okay and again I'm about to get on the interstate so I'm going to focus on that and I'll check back in once we get back once we get to class so check back in in a sec okay guys we made it to class in 20 minutes 20ish minutes um so parking's crazy as usual so I'm going to go ahead and start getting ready with my weight these are my girls with my two pounder and my water and I had a yogurt and a protein shake before class so hopefully that holds your girl up it should though um we'll see and stays in on class and I don't throw up i'm going to bring you guys in class with me today and um we're going to see how it goes today i got to carry all this crap i actually need a gym like a mini gym bag carrier that would be such a great thing for me cuz I have to It's like I carry a lot of stuff but majority of majority of those things are weights and I got my towels my gym i'm going to put this here last time I bought my towel the face fell outside and it was a hard time for me so this is the one I'm drinking today this one's pretty good they all their flavors are pretty good um but this is just the one I got today so okay i'm going to call hubby head inside and I'll see y'all in there bye 5 4 3 2 got you Go get go go go go go go go go I upset heat heat heat heat heat heat heat heat this past summer I dislocated my shoulder my this shoulder my dominant freaking hand shoulder bro i dislocated it trying to catch a dog or like get a dog away from the dog that I was walking it was this whole big thing first time I've ever done any that extensive in my body ever in my life um but anyway so I started out going to physical therapy um and it was good it was fine you know it I was in a sling for a few weeks so that was the next step afterwards was to go to physical therapy and um I was going and I was going twice a week and before that I was in Pilates but obviously I had to stop because of my shoulder so you know I just had to get there get my shoulder at a point where it felt for me I was like I want to get to a place where it feels normal to use again before I get back into Pilates so fast forward we're in we're in physical therapy and through physical therapy if you've ever been the the person who was doing it for me just pretty much said "We are trying to regain strength in that area like trying to get your muscles to know strength in that area again so that we can get it back over time you know back to where it was or at least somewhere very close." So I was doing I did physical therapy therapy for maybe like 3 months threeish months um after my sling and I had some setbacks because I wasn't always doing my homework but eventually I just got bored so I was like well if it's about strengthening Pilates is also about strengthening so let me just gradually try to get back into Pilates and it's been almost 6 months since that point of me stopping physical therapy and then going to Pilates instead and today was the first class that I did a full side plank on my right side granted I knew I could do the whole thing but I was like "Slow it down." So you know how they break it up in like seconds in class so I did it for the first 30 seconds and then in the last 60 seconds I did it on bended knee bro I'm so proud of myself i am so proud of myself because like I when I first started again mind you when I first first first first first first started class I could barely do it anyway but then when I started again after Pilates I was like "God it's going to like take me so long it's just hard." And I don't and that's also mental because I like I don't want to um like harm myself anymore or whatever and so I was like uh yeah let's just not try and then I was like well let's just try and then I kept trying and kept trying and I did it ah I'm so excited i was so excited i'm so proud of myself um but yeah I just want to say that tidbit cuz keep going cuz you have to keep showing up for yourself it's either gets better or it doesn't but it's never going to get better if I don't try so I love that for myself i love that and um yeah I'mma keep showing up i do Pilates twice a week um yeah I love that keep trying um yeah I love that and then just don't give up on yourself because what's the point of that okay bye
