Celebrating 500 New Friends and Vision Team Day Vlog

good morning friends today I'm on my way to church for our like it's called vision team day but it's essentially all of us getting together and hearing the vision and the plan for our church from our pastor um for the rest of the year we go every year and it's always just a fun time so I'm excited but before I do that y'all I know this is like a small little accomplishment accomplishment to some people but to me it's very very huge because I set my mind to something got help wasn't afraid to ask for help and I accomplished it so yesterday I reached 500 followers on my TikTok account i know that sounds small but y'all I have been sitting at 200 for months before I started to really take you know content seriously so I'm so excited and the support on there is literally outrageous so I'm just so grateful i'm so thankful and I know it's small well I won't say I know it's small it may be small to some people but I know that as I continue to set goals it this one helps me get confidence or feel confident enough to reach my next goal and then the next goal and then the next goal so my next goal is to have a thousand followers by April 30th so that I can be able to put a link inside of my TikTok so I feel like it's all working together had to start start at someplace so I continue to grow to where I want to grow so anyway so how I'm going to celebrate that because you should be celebrating all of your successes all your milestones all the things that you want to accomplish once you get to that point some way shape or form you have to celebrate so let me show you how I'm going to celebrate my 500 followers on TikTok so hold on i literally hate that every time we talk I feel like I'm in a rush i I do have to go to church technically I'm late okay so yesterday I went to get this vegan red velvet layer cake from Rubicon um and I just feel like it's so cute so I'm going to do a little cake milestone celebration and I'm going to record it and put it on my Tik Tok um if you aren't following me on Tik Tok my handle is the same it's I am Ashley Heartley so definitely meet me there and so with this I'm going to do 500 like candles on top of it i went to get them from the dollar store last night and I'll do like a cute little moment for Tik Tok um just to let them know that I'm like so appreciative of their support during this time and also you know I put like if you go and look at the post I put like things that I'll be vlogging about or like recording about and I'm excited that they even you know was like "Yeah those are things I want to see especially from you." Like that's no small like accomplishment to me because I have 500 people saying "Hey yeah I want to see you do that." Or "Hey yeah I'm interested in seeing how you do that." So I'm just so appreciative like imagine 500 people just coming to your house just because they want to you know hang out with you like that's how it feels to me so I'm excited and I want y'all to come along with me as I celebrate um it' be very very quick but you'll see kind of how I record in the house a little bit it is a little rainy today so like the lighting is a little wonky but I feel like the idea is just to get it out my husband's really really really really into quality and I'm like let's just get it out so I'm trying to find a good mesh there so I have this lighting that we ended up getting from MicroEnter we have another one but I can't find it and he's not here so I'm going to use this one this one's fine too but it just it gets really really bright and usually you have a clamp to put on the like the shade so you can change up the hue i can't find them so I'm g just use this to my the best of my ability and just go from there um because I definitely want to get it out before I head out because it's raining that's going to mess up my makeup my hair probably my clothes all the things so I feel like once I get this done I can cross that off my checklist be done with that and move forward so yeah I'm excited i It's crazy cuz I think I need to do this in one take i got these from the dollar store um and I felt like they were cute right with the glitter on them right i'm usually a gold girl obviously so I wanted gold but I feel like these are super cute and I feel like it's the cake is big enough to fit all of it and yeah I think it'll be cool i'm not a red velvet cake girl so I hope hubby will have this when he gets home but if not I just I just can't like I don't know because I feel like I don't know but is red velvet cake chocolate cake i don't really I'm a vanilla lemon you know cake person i don't really like chocolate cake and that might be the reason why I don't like red velvet but honestly I don't know i just I used to eat it when I was younger and then I just almost like yams i used to eat it a lot when I was younger but now I'm like I don't want it so let me show y'all this brand of like bakery for like vegans is actually really really good i They have a bunch of like different flavors of cakes and things and my favorite is always anything that is Oh it smell good sorry y'all hold on dang that smell good this was in the freezer section at Whole Foods why does it smell so I mean it smells so fresh like is this ice cream cake no it's not ice cream cake y'all i don't know i might have to take that back and get me some real velvet cake i don't know but I forgot what I was saying y'all but yeah I feel like this will be a cool way to celebrate let me open up my numbers first so I'm not um all over the place because again I have to go thankfully visioning day is from 10 to 2 so I won't miss everything but I'll unfortunately miss the first part um of it but I think it'll be okay hubby's there so if I miss anything he'll definitely clue me in um and vision team day is really really cool too because he'll go over like all of our financials you know any projections that we have we just bought a new building so any projections that he has for like where we're going as a church as one unit um I feel like you don't really get that a lot at a lot of churches a lot of transparency and a lot of it honestly is a lot of vulnerability because we forget that our pastors are just people trying to advance God's kingdom so you know it's a lot of work and then they try have to try to please everybody but yeah so I'm excited now my question is when I put this on it's going to look like 500 to me but would it look like 500 to you because of the view that we're Oh okay let me do it okay this one was a little Okay slow down because if this cake falls it's all I got baby five let me put zero right here in the front a little bit y'all see that zero and zero 500 i hope that looks like 100 to y'all am I tripping no this is 500 right yeah because the five wouldn't be right here it may look better that way for you on camera but for me this is 500 okay so my tripod my phone is on the tripod behind me for lighting purposes that's the better spot in here let me show you what it looks like with this camera with this um lighting i can't look at it this crap is bright it's literally so bright bro and I try to put it if I put it like behind it it works good I think but you know how like I'm the person behind I'm like the person in the camera like doing the content and stuff my husband is on the editing i don't know what any of this looks like to y'all but if he says it's good then I'll you know go with it i don't know how to really like set it up for myself but one day I'll learn but for right now I got to go so all right so I'm going to turn it around so you can kind of see what it's like um behind me behind you on the tripod um hold on let me turn it around okay so this is what my setup looks like behind me and for content purposes for Tik Tok I feel like this spot works the best i'm going to try to take the light too to see what it looks like so and I always try to use my front camera my back camera I'm sorry but my Apple Watch has been so wonky lately so usually I'll set it up wipe it obviously and I'll set it up and I'll put it here and then I'll use my Apple Watch to set it up now honestly I'll just be creating clips and then inside of Tik Tok I'll just splice it up so it looks good that way okay it's working it's working maybe not every time I try to get on it y'all it shuts off okay we're in there and I think the lighting looks good so I'm going to go ahead and start recording um I'm going put it right here girl this thing maybe it will work me okay well that's not going to work so we're going to do it right here and I'm going to sit this right here so that I can see but the only thing is like you just can't like it looks weird when you're looking at the Apple Watch so try your best to not look at it if you are recording in this way so it just really helps you um let me see yeah y'all can see me it just really helps you stay in frame and stuff like that so I don't know y'all try my best with this light just sit it right there and then the beauty is you can just hit record on your watch and I don't really care if it's getting the perfect timing because I can just again cut it up you hit that record button and you Okay stay in frame and just do cute stuff okay and then oh I forgot I'm going to light them so what I'm going to do is I'm going to stop the camera take these out hey hey hey heat heat okay great time to stop and look at the contents i think they're going to be great um I'm going to edit it probably sometime today and I hope you guys go to my TikTok and check it out but for now again I'm running I'm running late i hate that y'all feel like this may be like my personality of running late but it's really really not okay it's not so come with me i'm heading to Vision Team Day and it should be fairly fun so I'll bring y'all along so y'all can see what it's really like yeah so see you later okay I just made it to church super duper late um I'm gonna call my husband to see if he can come get me because I know that they're in the gymnasium but I don't know exactly what the setup is because this is our first vision team day in the um in the gym in the new building period but also in the gym so let me call him real quick to make sure I'm not walking into the wrong spot whoops hey you just got here hey yeah I just parked um you mind coming out i'm about to meet you outside okay you know where the main entrance is where the blue part is at yeah I'll meet you there okay okay it sounds like it's lively in there sound like I didn't miss much and um I'm excited i got here right before lunch so they'll probably be setting up for lunch soon so I don't know if I missed the activities y'all if I did that's going to suck but it'll be okay i don't know how much content I can get in there but you know me I will always try to get a little something so that you guys can experience it with me i literally love my church and um it's in Tucker Georgia so if anyone you know is interested hit me in the comments let me know you know I'll come with you i'll sit with you so you don't have to be alone if that is the case we have children's ministry we have adults ministry young adults ministry um and it's so many things we're growing into as you know cuz the facility is way bigger than the other ones so there's so many areas that we're just so y'all can like experience you know well I would love for y'all to experience this type of worship this type of um you know service this type of preaching this sort of kindness so yeah I think this we're going to eat yes I do y'all vegan yes how long oh about 10 years for me i'm a little burnt thank you you need to do a vegan connection oh that would be fun heat heat heat heat okay friends vision team day is over for 2026 as you can see we got our pamphlets it's full of information and details about where you know trajectory for the church is heading for the upcoming year so that's always exciting the food was so good and I love how they have like an inclusive menu so like I was able to get vegan stuff from like food to sweets so it was so good they had like a different section for everyone i think they also had pescatarian so that's always good for today it's so it's it's not weird but like it's so new right today we talked about wheels um and such and so Carrie and I have been talking about oh we're going to get a we're going to get a wheel we're going to get a wheel and we just haven't done it yet so today they gave us a free resource to be able to make the process easier so I'm going to go home he and I are both going to go home and make our wheels today so if you haven't done anything like that for you or your family I suggest you do um don't put it off um that's something we have been putting off again just those little nudges of reminders i think it's great to just you know just knock it out if it takes me less than a day to do it just knock it out in most cases if it takes you less than two minutes someone said just knock it out so I'm going to knock that out with my family today um and honestly today in our list of things to do I don't have much so taking care of home maintenance stuff like that it's the perfect day to do it and it's not like the weather is that great so you don't really want to be outside too much so yeah today was great the morning was busy but it was full of great things again Vision Team day but also a celebrating 500 followers on Tik Tok so all good stuff y'all so I hope to see y'all on the next one um thank you for
